Sham Contracting Allegations

The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) has launched a prosecution against a Queensland real estate agent for alleged sham contracting and paying a salesman just $100.00 for five months work.

News of this action came just days after the PSAQ Secretary wrote to real estate businesses in Queensland, informing them of the intention of the PSAQ itself to also investigate and prosecute allegations of sham contracting.

Real estate salespeople or property management personnel in Queensland who believe they've been underpaid should contact:

Tom French (Vice President - Member Services)
P: 0419 787 526
E: tom.french@psaq.com.au
